Reston Sprint Triathlon, in cooperation with the CORE Foundation and Reston Association, presents the fifth annual Sprint Triathlon in Reston to benefit Reston Interfaith - Reston's oldest, and Northern Virginia's most successful, non-profit social services organization.
Inaugurated in 2007, The Reston Sprint Triathlon has already become a valued annual tradition that promotes health, fitness and good will in a region known for its dedication to sports and community. With a family-friendly atmosphere, the race is fun for participants and spectators alike.
In 2011, over 660 athletes and over 150 volunteers participated in the event, netting over $30,000, all of which was donated to Reston Interfaith. Local and regional sponsors were joined by over 3000 supporters, spectators, and volunteers who gathered around the course to cheer the athletes and raise funds for, and awareness of, Reston Interfaith's work in the community.

This year, the number of participants will increase to over 700, and organizers would like to raise our donation to Reston Interfaith to $40,000.
