The third annual Reston Sprint Triathlon was completed on
May 31, 2009. See the results
The proceeds from the event will be again
be donated to one of Reston's oldest, and
Northern Virginia's most successful, non-profit organizations,
Reston Interfaith.
Reston Interfaith promotes self-sufficiency through support and advocacy for
those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality childcare,
and other services.
The CORE Foundation, in cooperation with
Reston Association,
presents the event. If you wish to volunteer to help in
planning and/or during the next event, please fill out our
volunteer form.
The
bike segment is
12 miles (20 Km) all within North Reston, with police and volunteer course monitors.
The
swim
is in the Lake Newport pool.

The
run segment
is in the heart of north Reston and will take advantage of
Reston's famed pathways for the 3 mile (5 Km) run.
With a family-friendly atmosphere, fast course, and early morning start, the race
promises to be a unique event.
